Some moments in photography are truly unforgettable, and this family session was one of them. Despite a heavy storm and non-stop rain, my clients embraced the weather and decided to go ahead with their photo shoot. They carried an umbrella for most of the session, but instead of seeing the rain as an obstacle, we turned it into part of the story.

 

The rain added a beautiful, dynamic energy—movement, reflections, and rich, vibrant colors. It created a cinematic feel that made their family portraits even more special. The soft, diffused light from the overcast sky was stunning, but as the storm grew darker, I used flash to bring out the warmth and connection between them.
